Automatic Display Change on Lid Close

I stumbled upon the above script after searching for a trivial way to move all workspaces and windows to an attached monitor after closing my laptop lid. Could something like this be easily implemented into Hyprland?

I tried writing a very similar script which used hyprland IPC and it ended up crashing hyprlock for some reason. Didn't have time to debug. Would be awesome if there were a built in solution.
