Describe the bug

Damage tracking is broken in Qt Creator auto-complete. Bits of tooltips stay onscreen even after the tooltip is closed and flicker on-off.

Reproduction steps

Open the Hyprland project in Qt Creator, trigger an autocomplete (for example, start typing in the CMakeLists and hit Ctrl+Space), then accept or close it with escape. You will see that pats of the popup will sometimes stay onscreen, sometimes flickering. They can be cleared by scrolling the view (causing a big damage event).
