Informal description of bus behaviour?

I know that this still is a very work-in-project state, but could it be possible to have a very informal description on how should it work? Even just an high-level description that may change at any time but that at least provide some concrete ideas.

tavern is just a place for apps to advertise themselves. Other apps can search things on the bus and connect to them. That's about it for the tl;dr description
