Inconsistent Ligature Support #129
Description
In the windows font viewer,
The greater-than-or-equal-to symbol is not a ligature.
This ligature is also not supported in the R Studio IDE on Windows.
Perhaps not directly related:
With Fira Code, some other ligatures work in the font viewer and notepad, etc, but fail in the R Studio IDE, e.g. |> does not work in R Studio. |> does not work with Hasklig in any application I have tried on Windows. I understand there is some issue with application support. in very broad strokes what would cause some ligatures to work in an application but not others?
