Reaper AIO pre-installed in a Foxeer CineWhoop, conversion from Betaflight, which it flew OK. The board seems to be intended as a default and as the arrow is labelled for diamond orientation, but this model installs it square, with the arrow on board top pointing right yaw 45. I have set adjustment page to be 0 Roll, 0 Pitch, and 45 Yaw. The quad image moves correctly for roll, pitch and yaw. The correct motors spin. BUT the status for Calibration is crossed, the accelerometer calibration is also crossed, and the calibration screen process will not run. It does the easy flat upright and flat inverted, but then will not set for the on edge right, etc. For this third stage, I'm expecting it to calibrate with the board arrow pointing horizontal right, board rolled 90 so vertical on right corner with arrow horizontal right as calibration screen image. But no, nothing happens. It doesn't work for other orientations either at that stage, though they'd not be correct, just to see if they would set. What am I doing wrong please? |

It sounds like you're doing it pretty much correctly. On your FC, do you see a chip next to the arrow installed parallel to the arrow, not the board edge? Doing the calibration with the FC in an aircraft can be more difficult, especially when it's 45° off so you're balancing on each motor. The key for accelerometer calibration is to make sure it's not wobbling around during the calibration. Place each side down on a table or desk. It may be helpful to use a shelf or a box of some kind sitting on the table to put the drone against that to hold it more stable. |

Yes, thanks, adjacent to the arrow there's ONE chip that is orientated that way, 45 degrees to the board edges and every other chip, so what I was doing seems right.
I was also confident that I was keeping the Cine Whoop type Quad steady while attempting to calibrate each direction. Level and Inverted calibrate as Configurator shows, then nothing, no matter how still and how accurately I held the quad. Just randomly pressing Calibrate while holding in different directions I had "calibrated" two of the remaining four orientations the fourth and the last (incorrectly, but just to prove it could lodge a setting), but the third orientation on edge with arrow/chip horizontal right did nothing.
