Request for Assistance: Straight Line Plot Instead of Parabola in PCI Analysis

hi！Thank you for sharing the code.However， I encountered an issue. When I didn't use the provided pci_S.npy file and let the code generate it on its own, instead of a parabola, I got a straight line in the plot. I have carefully checked the code logic, but I still can't figure out where the problem lies.

The data I used are the two sample files wake.mat and sleep.mat provided on this page. The difference is that when calculating PCI, instead of directly using pci_S.npy and pci_W.npy, I chose to enter the else module (as shown in the figure). The attachment contains my code - it is essentially adjusted slightly based on the code on this page for my Python version.
