Yes, it's intentional. The y extent is adjusted for the view window's aspect ratio. Sounds like what you want is to show the view fitted? |

@Ellord207 Not sure if this helps you or not, but changedViewedModel2d supports a "doFit" option via ChangeViewedModel2dOptions. Does at least seem like someone else had a similar requirement. |

We have a need to create Drawings and Sheets and want to have constant views of those documents across multiple applications that my not have our specific logic.
We have tried using ViewDefinition2d's for this purpose, but when loading the views on the frontend, we have observed that the full extents are not shown. Often, the loaded ViewState's extents will match the original ViewDefinition2d's x axis extent, hiding the edges of the y extent. I'm not sure if this intentional, a bug, or maybe a miss-use of the system. This causes views of our sheets to be oddly zoomed and generally look bad.
