Hello, very nice project,

I'm just starting to learn swift and was wondering if it was possible to use this library on linux systems ?

Unfortunately you can't use this in Linux 😢

You can compile RocksDB under linux and use it there. However, you are constrained to the RocksDB C-API, because there is no official/supported Swift-C++ interop yet.

ObjectiveRocks, this library, is written in Objective-C++ but provides a pure Objective-C API in order to be usable in Swift. If you want to use it in Swift under Linux, then you'll have to find a way to compile the Objective-C++ there into a static lib or something, and then interop it with Swift code.

I haven't tried it, maybe I'll give it a go some day, but I wont promise anything 😅
