State estimator for simple_flight

Hi, in the original AirSim repo I was working on a state estimator for the simple_flight flight controller. You can also find the releted issue in the old AirSim repo below:

Its about adding an extended Kalman filter-based state estimator that can work with simple_flight to make the state estimation more realistic.

Is there any interest to add this feature in the Project AirSim repository? I would love to bring some contribution related to this.

Thank you for your previous contribution to AirSim v1. I remember it well. We truly appreciate your continued interest in the project. You’ll find that the flight controller in Project AirSim remains largely consistent with the original, with updates mostly in naming conventions and minor improvements.
