ProjectAirSim License #78

Hi all, Thanks for the new repository! I’ve been using the original AirSim repo for a few years and I’m really happy to see a new, maintained open-source version available. I have a question regarding the license. Is this project released under the MIT license? I found this page which mentions:
This made me unsure whether the code is actually MIT-licensed or under a different agreement. Where can I find this EAP document? Thanks in advance for your clarification! |

Hi @leanedonze Thank you for your kind words, and we're glad to hear you've been using AirSim for years! We’re excited to continue building on that legacy with Project AirSim. To clarify your question about the license: yes, this repository is released under the MIT License, and you can find the full text in the LICENSE The mention of the Early Access Program (EAP) Agreement originates from the prior Microsoft-hosted services that accompanied Project AirSimect. That reference is no longer relevant here, there is no EAP agreement applicable to this open-source repository. We’ll be updating any outdated references to avoid confusion. Thanks again for raising this! Please feel free to open a new discussion or issue if you have further questions or suggestions, we welcome community contributions and feedback. |
