Is it possible to pre-populate a layout?

At work I often do a mix of development and support for other developers. Whenever I go into my "support mode" I tend to need a different series of screens, documentation, etc than I do with my own developer flow.

So what I am trying to figure out is if there is a way that Amethyst can be configured (perhaps this is custom?) such that when you choose a layout it saves the apps and windows that you'd like for your particular layout.
