Nextcloud on 0.8.0 broken?

I'm trying to build config with 0.8.0 but I get this error:

I assume it might be to some GitHub shenanigans in the upstream, but it would be great to fix it anyway.

Can anyone confirm this is an actual problem and not just my messy config?

It seems indeed like an upstream issue. The nixpkgs commit that fixes this is NixOS/nixpkgs@c0ef3dd

I'm assuming you're on SHB 0.8.0 so you should update to SHB commit b63caca which does bump to that exact nixpkgs commit.

I realize I should do a new release so no one bumps into this anymore.

Ah gosh sorry. I know at that time there were some issues with upstreaming versions. Can you try the latest main commit directly? That should work it’s the one I’m using.

Ah I think SHB should be good now. That's something to update in your config. Looks like nodejs was renamed to nodejs_latest.

Ah, yes, that one is on me. I'll try to solve it and let you know how SHB/nixpkgs stand from my perspective.

Yup, it's good now. I had some adventures with the new mailserver as it broke my LDAP auth, but after 4h of late night firefighting I managed to get it right (or basically work around the issue).

I think it makes sense to tag the release as 0.8.0 seems to be broken after all.

Not really. I think it's an upstream problem with nixos-mailserver, though I'm not 100% sure what bit me.

Somehow setting ldap.attributes.password = lib.mkForce null; was not enought and I had to

  config.services.dovecot2.settings."passdb ldap".bind = true;
  config.services.dovecot2.settings."passdb ldap".fields = lib.mkForce null;
