Custom Policy for V2018

Is there any resource about the custom policy for IBM API Connect 2018?
Maybe some example policy which can run on APIC 2018.

Hi Derek,
API Connect version 2018 supports User Defined Policies for the V5 compatible gateway implementation

User Defined Policy support for the API Gateway implementation is forthcoming.

The API Gateway implementation now supports User Defined Policies (UDPs, a.k.a Custom Policies). Here is a good reference to get started.

@dhimanha The policy here https://github.com/ibm-apiconnect/policy/tree/master/clientIP-filter-policy can be used directly in v2018 in V5 Compatible mode. It would have to be altered (per the instructions above) to work with the API Gateway. The stylesheet inside the clientIP-filter-policy is pretty generic and should move over fairly easily.

@thomas-burke UDP is great. For generic policies like SAML Validation and ClientIP Filtering, it would be still very helpful to have it out-of-the-box available. It will provide great value to many customers. We have v2018 w/o v5 compatibility enabled. Would it be possible to have them ported to v2018 as soon as possible?

I managed to successfully implement UDP, but the APIM interface does not show me the created UDP, I have DataPower API Gateway and API Connect V 2018.4.1.9.

me too..
I follow the example which is in IBM knowledge Center, but couldn't get any policy on APIM interface. I have the same version APIC as you.
