This service lets you define backup schedules to routinely protect data sources using a secure, agent-based, application-consistent backup service. Developers use APIs to interact with the service to set up backup and recovery activities. Additionally, there is a software development kit (SDK) are available for the Go framework. A plug-in is also available for the {{site.data.keyword.cloud_notm}} Command Line Interface.
