• My hardware is compatible and my graphics drivers are up-to-date.

What happened?

After #3238 due to 1Password/arboard#223 on compositors that don't support ext-data-control-v1 (e.g. Mutter) and wayland only clients clipboard is effectively dead.

rust-windowing/winit#2156 may help if it ends up in winit, but otherwise what pop os did (smithay-clipboard with custom mime support) might be a solution...

What is the expected behavior?

Clipboard to work on Mutter & wayland only.
