Hi, maybe you forgot or didn't think about adding the --auto-delete flag which consists in removing local photos that were removed from iCloud. I'm saying it because edition probably consists in removal and creation, now I don't know how iCloud and icloud-pd manage it exactly |

First of all, thanks for a great solution!
I'm running icloudpd on my linux desktop in the CLI and downloading to a mounted LAN share on my NAS. It is working very well, however, I noticed that it is not downloading the edited version of images that were edited in the Photos app. IOW, it IS downloading the original image, but it's not downloading the edited version. These are not live images. They are JPG format, not RAW or HEIC.
When I look at my photos in iCloud or on a device, I can see my images, and those that have been edited are visible with the edits. When I run icloudpd, it downloads the same image, but it is not the edited version, only the original, unedited version. I can download the edited image manually, but the filename is exactly the same as the unedited original, so I have to manually rename it "[filename]-edited.jpg" in order to store it in the folder path.
Can icloudpd download both the original and the edited versions of files that have been edited in the photos app? I tried exporting XMP to see if that would provide the info, but it doesn't appear to reflect modifications from the original.
