ActiveStorage::FileNotFoundError raised when file is missing

If a file is for some reason missing during validation, an ActiveStorage::FileNotFoundError exception is raised.

Perhaps instead this exception could be rescued and an error added to the attribute?

Can you elaborate a bit on this scenario?

We are relying on ActiveStorage and its blob system, if the file is missing, a similar error will probably be raised by the ActiveStorage upload mecanism down the road.

Sure - I ran into some cases where an attachment was missing - not sure if it was removed by another program or what.

Upon trying to update that record with an unrelated field, #361 caused validations to be run when even though the attachment field was not updated, and then it raised this error because the attachment was missing.

I don't think a missing attachment to cause the validation to raise an exception, but perhaps this would never actually happen if the validation wasn't run when the field wasn't updated, so maybe this could be closed as a duplicate of #361.
