HEIC images displaying Error Loading Image

App on IOS displays the images fine. The web version gives me the error. File still downloads and displays fine locally. Tried rebuilding Thumbnails, that did not work. If I click on the photo to look at it in the Web app it also shows Error Loading Image. Tried 3 different browsers both in normal and private mode. I am stumped.

What do the logs say when you load or rebuild thumbnails

I set the Image Settings-->Prefer Embedded preview-->OFF and that seemed to fix the issue,

@hydazz I am still seeing issue with thumbnails generation using latest image on raspberry pi even when embedded preview is OFF as suggested by @AD3DStuff following are the logs that i am seeing

Hi @vinayk047 do you have error logs on other .heic files? I just want to rule out a single file corruption.
fwiw on a fresh install using https://github.com/imagegenius/docker-immich generated HEIC thumbnails on my end

Hi @ajoga, I can no longer reproduce this issue on the latest pull, looks like it's been fixed. Thanks!
