Failure after migration to new file system

The bug

First of all, I have tried to find a manual or user who has reported the same thing I am asking about, but I have not been able to find it. I apologize if this has been answered previously.

I have followed the steps indicated in the following link

I can see that everything has been copied to my data folder.

However, when I reopened the Immich app, it didn't remember my main user or my secondary users.

I also noticed that there is no trace of any of the albums I had created, and I didn't have any photos uploaded.

What did I do wrong?
Can I recover my old photos?
Can I recover my users?

I'm really lost and don't know how to fix it.

In truenas you must use rsync to migrate data to the new location.
Just backup dataset "backup" and dataset "upload. Use instruction from truenas app site.
Its quite simple to migrate.
Mkdir, rsync and reconfig app. For sure you should reload acl on your new dataset with folders upload, thumbnails etc

So if you don't remember users you should try to recover password by email. And you must remember database password, you can read pgsql tables from docker exec or you can extract any backup and read sql-export to search users there.

I think we dont move/copy the data from postgres

I did the next commands:
rsync -av /mnt/tank/immich/library/ /mnt/tank/immich/data/library/
rsync -av /mnt/tank/immich/upload/ /mnt/tank/immich/data/upload/
rsync -av /mnt/tank/immich/thumbs/ /mnt/tank/immich/data/thumbs/
rsync -av /mnt/tank/immich/profile/ /mnt/tank/immich/data/profile/
rsync -av /mnt/tank/immich/video/ /mnt/tank/immich/data/encoded-video/
rsync -av /mnt/tank/immich/backups/ /mnt/tank/immich/data/backups/

I dont know why Immich dont remember my user, password and all my albums, etc, etc

If i have several backups in /mnt/tank/immich/data/backups/ how can reinstall one of this backup?

As you've just rsynced the data, have you tried pointing back to the original host paths in the app configuration screen of truenas?

Yes, i try to do too. Put again my older configuration in Truenas App and we have the same problem.

Maybe this is for others type of installation?

I try to execute the first command and not is possible in my installation "permission denied"

I have also tried to follow the first post, but I am unable to connect pgadmin to the Immich database.

In the end, I'm afraid I'm going to have to start from scratch. What I'm wondering is whether these things are normal. I wouldn't want to spend another whole year setting everything up only to have it all go down the drain after a change. Honestly, it's scary just thinking about it.
