Tag UI is Buggy

I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

Tag UI is buggy sometimes in web app. Sometimes it works okay. But most of the times when i try to add specially long tags especially with "/", it removes the whole word from the search box.

I have to type the word repeatedly, it keeps removing or i have to paste t from a separate text file.

See the video attached below; while I am typing Hello World, it keeps deleting previous letters, sometimes the whole word. Specially when i am typing / in tags.

In the video it ca be seen when i type "Hello World /", after i type "/", the previous word gets deleted.

Reproduction steps

1. Open Web App
2. Try to open a pic/video, and tag it
3. Its very difficult to add new tags, most of the times i have to retype multiple times, or type the whole tag into a separate text file and then paste it into the UI, in immich like "Hello/World/This is a Long Tag"

Nothing relevant being shown in Logs, i checked the logs before creating an issue, everything seems normal in logs when i check via


docker compose logs -f
