Question: Multistep validation

I have a step validation which is working nice. Now I want to validate the required fields before switching to the next step in the form. Is it possible to validate each step or does it need to be custom validated?

There is already a pull request for it. See #1090

I don't know for which versions, we will accept it. We are currently focusing compatibility with TYPO3 v13. Adding features upfront, does not make sense right now.
