Swagger UI error suggests an issue with openapi 3.0.0

hi!
I'm getting this error in the Swagger UI:

the fact that it could not resolve pointer: /definitions/, instead of going for /components/schemas/ suggests that it is set for swagger:"2.0".

I have set this spec, which seems to have been taken, as the title is there:

    NewSpec = #{
        openapi => "3.0.0",
        info => #{title => "Sellers Guard"}
    },
    cowboy_swagger:set_global_spec(NewSpec),

I'm new here, I'm most probably missing something, any ideas to fix the error would be appreciated.
