Doesn't work on ubuntu xenial 16.04

The detection and handling of DBUS events works fine on Ubuntu 14.04, however nothing happens when running this on xenial. Ideas how to debug / fix appreciated.

Hello, could you try what I've mentioned in #46?
Just add a monkey patch code... I try it and works on ubuntu 18.04
