Bings Route Direction Directive for the Driving path

Hi @thor-schueler Do we have any wrapper for native direction service of bings map to get the driving route?I tried creating the directive to do it but ran into "Microsoft not defined issue" even though i included the triple slash directive import.Do we have to generate the route data and call polyline directive.I'm new to bings and angular 4.Thanks

We currently do not have support for the Directions module. That being said, you can use the Directions module directly to get your directions and print them on the map. You would need to load the directions module into the BingMapService. There are some hooks for that in the service already as we load other modules. You would not really need to create a polyline directive since the directions module takes care of putting the route onto the map. There is a JS sample at https://www.bing.com/api/maps/sdkrelease/mapcontrol/isdk#directionsCreateDrivingRoute+JS

If you are interested in adding support for the directions module to angular maps, I can provide some guidance.

Re the "Microsoft not defined issue", you probably ran afoul of the breaking change in the MSFT BingMaps types package. See #44 for an explanation and let me know whether this solves the Microsoft not defined issue.

A directions directive would be super helpful. If that isn't possible how would I integrate the JS sample above into a layered map with other markers?
