Will this plugin (sometime) be a replacement for Multisite enhancements?

We did consider Multisite Enhancements as a starting point, but ultimately decided not to build on top of it. The main reason is that we didn’t want to take on responsibility for maintaining all of its features, some of which go beyond the scope we’re currently focusing on.

With Multisyde, our goal is to explore and prototype focused improvements based on real-world use cases and community feedback. We expect the feature set to evolve through discussion and experimentation, and we aim for solutions that feel more aligned with how WordPress core works, both in code and in user experience (UX).

That means Multisyde isn’t a direct replacement, but rather a fresh take that may cover similar ground where it makes sense - in a leaner and more WordPress-native way.
