Request for Async Streaming Compression API in QATzip

QATzip currently lacks an asynchronous streaming compression API. Why this feature is not available (technical constraints or prioritization)? When it might be added?

Do you mean asynchronous compression API?
Because we already have streaming API to accumulate small piece of data into big chunk of data for compression offloading.
While, the alternative is to enable async compression API for offloading which need to change Nginx compression from run-to-complete mode to async mode.
We are changing the Nginx QATzip module and Nginx core module for async compression offloading and will release it once we get a stable version.
