We are unable to find properties mentioned in description, into the bulk download file from: https://openlibrary.org/developers/dumps

Hi @hornc,
In the link https://openlibrary.org/type/edition, I found 'copyright_date', 'uris[]', 'description' in the properties column. I want to access these columns, and so I downloaded 'editions dump' from https://openlibrary.org/developers/dumps. But in the downloaded data, these columns are not available. Kindly guide me on where I can find these required columns.

Hi @pbihani7 , it looks like some of those fields listed on https://openlibrary.org/type/edition are not up to date, or were
aspirational and have never been populated. More recent documentation of the JSON schema as actually used by Open Library can be found in this repo: https://github.com/internetarchive/openlibrary-client/blob/master/olclient/schemata/edition.schema.json

uris[] looks like it should be covered by "links"

I don't believe copyright_date as a separate field from publication date exists in the Open Library db unfortunately. That might be available from editions with associated MARC records, but I'm not aware that being imported into OL.
