Edition publishing year should be shown near book records in search results when edition-level search is turned on

On search page when searching with solr editions, only first published date is shown. I think, that edition publish date should also be present as it would make more sense since I am working with edition, not the whole work

I see this is still in the design phase. From a technical perspective, does the current Solr search API already return the 'edition publish date' in the response object, or would this require backend changes to index that field first?
