Active development?

Hi folks,
I See that a lot of the commits are from way long back. Actually I like such a simple workflow engine and would want to know whether this is still being actively supported by a community.
If not, which library replaced it?

I have the same question. If this is not being current maintained, who is the head developer? I would like to contribute with this little project to keep it up-to-date with latest python packages. If this one was abandoned, what is the replacement?
