How to install/expand icon options?

I've been trying to add new icons because the set (tabler) that comes by default is a little limited.

I tried installing fontawesome and nerdfonts using the plugins and their respective pip installation candidates. That added the repositories to the plugin.txt. But restarting the docker compose and I can't seem to find them anywhwere.

I then tried making a icon_sample.py as suggested here (https://docs.inventree.org/en/stable/plugins/mixins/icon/) but I must be doing something wrong. I can get it to be visible in the plugins page and I can activate it. But I get no new icons.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to install more fonts?

Can you try to load the inventree page and look in the network tab for a request containing icons/ in the url, you should see something like this:

Then make sure you can access the url you get back. If you create a plugin and upload the fonts to a static folder in the plugin, you may need to use self.plugin_static_file(...) instead of static(...).

Interesting. I did this in firefox, and my new icons are not there.

But I noticed you were using some version of a chromium browser. So I tried the website there, and lo and behold, the icon pack does show up.

No matter how many times I refresh the page in firefox, or restart the docker container, no new icons in firefox. I suspect it's probably a caching issue, when I have more time tonight I'll try restarting everything and clearing cache . But thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
