What should this feature add?

Currently, when you recall settings while the reference panel is expanded, the panel automatically collapses.
If you're frequently recalling and iterating, constantly checking and tweaking parameters, this behavior becomes very tedious, as you have to manually re-expand the panel every time.

It should preserve the reference panel's state on recall instead of automatically collapsing or expanding it.
This would make iteration much smoother.
