  • Release 1.9: Dataset Monitoring and Compliance Reporting

    This task is meant to extend Catalog’s functionality beyond its role as the master inventory of IOOS datasets and data access services, divided into two major areas: Perform service validation tests for data access services included in data provider metadata: calculating/reporting compliance scores using IOOS Compliance Checker (likely CF, ACDD, IOOS checkers) within the Catalog/CKAN environment. Similar to the Compliance Reporting task, investigate the feasibility of performing routine monitoring of dataset access service uptime to assess service health.

  • Release 1.4: Attribution/Search Enhancements

    In coordination with larger attribution effort in IOOS products, improve the way the Catalog can handle (parse, display, search) attribution in IOOS Data Provider metadata, and allow search and filtering capability based on these metadata. Potential Enhancements: - Search ranking improvements - Data Provider faceted filtering (ioos/catalog#41) - CKAN/pycsw search harmonization
