Similar to gift cards. The accounts are issued by a merchant and given to customers as promotion or special offers. The customers can buy the cards, check balance, reload.
The actual demo application consists of two Android app, one for merchant to issue the cards, check balance and redeem. One for customer to save the cards, share with family and friends, check balance and reload using bitcoins.
The reloading part is done using MYBTC (https://btcpayserver.org/)
