Custom domain anmol.is-a.dev already taken after removing it from old repo

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with adding my custom domain to a new repository.

I previously linked my anmol.is-a.dev domain to one of my old repositories. I have now removed the custom domain from that repository, and I’m trying to add it to a new repository instead.

However, when I try to add it under Settings → Pages → Custom domain, I get the following error:

The custom domain anmol.is-a.dev is already taken

As far as I know:
The domain has been removed from the old repository
The old repository no longer has a custom domain configured

I’d really appreciate any help or guidance. Thanks in advance! 🙏

The domain got hijacked by someone else. This isn't a normal website that we would merge.

Looks like we're in the same boat. I wanted "exyone" on GitHub, but it's just sitting there on an empty account. The good news? It's still available on exyone.is-a.dev, Haha.😂
