🚀 ISDC Hackathon – Rules & Regulations

🏆 Welcome to the ISDC Internal Hackathon!

This event is designed to test your skills, teamwork, and creativity while preparing you for real-world tech projects. Let’s build something amazing together!

🔹 Hackathon Guidelines

1️⃣ Team Formation:

  • Each team must have 1-2 members.
  • Every member must actively contribute to the project.

2️⃣ Project Submission:

  • The theme is open-ended – work on something innovative and impactful!
  • Your project must be pushed on GitHub for tracking progress.

3️⃣ AI & Open-Source Usage:

  • You CAN use AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for assistance.
  • DO NOT copy-paste code directly from open-source projects.
  • If any copied code is detected, your score will be reduced.

4️⃣ Progress Tracking:

  • Every 12 hours, teams must check in and map their progress to a score.
  • Judges will review updates and give feedback.

5️⃣ Random Activity Checks:

  • Random checks on GitHub activity will ensure fair play.
  • No checks in the first 4-5 hours, so use that time wisely!

🎯 Why This Matters?

  • Get real hackathon experience in a controlled environment.
  • Learn teamwork, problem-solving, and build a strong resume.
  • While this is an online event, remember: offline hackathons build bonds like family through collaboration!
  • Stay tuned – we’re planning a big, in-person hackathon soon! 🚀

📌 Final Words

Bring your creativity, skills, and passion – and let’s make this hackathon an unforgettable experience! Best of luck! 🚀
