Error in language reference regarding final states #3210
Open
Description
In the section 10.3.7 Final State it states that UML defines final states as pseudo states. However, UML/2.5.1 section 14.2.3.3 "Vertices" states that pseudo states are transitive while states and final states are stable. Also, the class diagram in figure 14.1 "Behavior StateMachines" shows that final states are in fact extending states and that the only pseudo state types are:
- initial
- deepHistory
- shallowHistory
- join
- fork
- junction
- choice
- entryPoint
- exitPoint
- terminate
