Lesson 2.10: LinkedIn, Presentations, & Survey


  • Aside from the LinkedIn workshop, this session is presentations and celebrations.
  • If there's time, feel free to play a game after the presentations are finished.
  • Alternatively, you can let students play each other’s trivia games.

Key Points

  • 👋 Welcome & Do Now (5) :

    • Begin the session with a welcome message and a short activity to engage students.
    • There is no Do Now for this lesson.

  • 📑 LinkedIn Workshop (25) :

    • Provide a detailed walkthrough of LinkedIn profile creation and improvement.
    • Refernce using the rubric as a guideline.
    • Offer examples or perform a live demonstration to clarify each point.

  • ✍️ Presentation Prep (20) :

    • Guide students in preparing their presentations.
    • Focus on articulating their project goals, achievements, and learnings.
    • Offer tips on effective presentation skills.

  • ⏳ Break (10)

  • 🎤 Presentations (40) :

    • Allocate time for each student to present their project.
    • Encourage peer feedback and constructive criticism.

  • 💻 Flex Time (10)

    • This time can be used for questions, shout outs, a game.
    • If you need it, use this time for presentations.
    • This should be used for whatever best fits the class' needs.
  • 📝 Survey & Closing (10):

    • Students will complete the Unit 2 Survey.
    • This is an important data point/piece of feedback - ensure all students submit.
    • Ensure they submit before leaving.
