Hello Guys,

I am very new to this Docker Minecraft Server Topic. In the last time the Switch from my son was the Host for playing Minecraft together , then i read about Docker Minecraft Server.

How i to run the Server:

I have a QNAP NAS and installed the Container with Network Mode Bridge for getting a static ip.
This works with a Virtual Switch. I think i have Problems there with the Port because i get the error Message according to the picture.

It is Not possible to Download the Software because of Port 443. i additionally have run Home Assistant over this Virtual Switch and there i have no Problems.

Does anyone have a Hint for me? If i start the Container in NAT Mode then the Server Starts but i dont find him in my Network.

Maybe additional pictures may help?
I also Can see that there is a portforwarding if i start per NAT but Not in Bridge Mode.
But i have No Option in Bridge mode to forward ports.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid this is something you'll have to investigate with your docker outgoing network connections. Things like the firewall need to be investigated.

i additionally have run Home Assistant over this Virtual Switch and there i have no Problems.

I know that might seem frustrating, but I'm not sure how the comparison validates your docker installation and firewall are correct for it. Perhaps investigate what is different between the two things.

The container isn't doing any special networking operation. It's just a shell script calling

Meanwhile i dont think there is a Problem with my configiration, because when i use another „Vendor“ of These Minecraft Bedrock dockers then it works with a fixed ip over the Virtual Switch fine and i Can find the Server and join… No Problems so far. Only the Nintendo Switch of my son cant join?! I dont know why.

Because of that i thought it could be a docker problem regarding the ports.

I found no Solution so far. To be honest i want to use the itzg Docker but it doesnt work.
Finally i switched to marctv Bedrock Server til i get a hint what could be the solution.
With the Marc TV Docker everything works. Including connection from external friends to the server.

That's unfortunate the outgoing networking issue hasn't been solved in your docker stack.

Do note that the marctv image is illegally distributing the Mojang server software as part of the image

That would explain why that image doesn't encounter the runtime access to https://net.web.minecraft-services.net/api/v1.0/download/links

If you could set the environment variable DEBUG to "true" and provide those logs then there might be some clues in there for me to help.

I would recommend searching the internet for advise about "No route to host issues with QNAP Container Station".
