One important thing to figure out regarding the ground truth is the convention that was used to distinguish left from right.
Two conventions could be used (see https://nipy.org/nibabel/neuro_radio_conventions.html):
- Neurological: from the patient POV
- Radiological: from the radiologist POV (facing the patient)
