Opacity Control Switches to Draw Layer and Mouse Interaction Breaks After Using Draw Tool

Opacity control initially works correctly on the DICOM image via mouse interaction, but after using the Draw tool, the active layer switches to the annotation layer, causing opacity adjustments to affect the drawings instead of the image; additionally, after removing the drawings, mouse-based opacity control no longer works on the image, indicating that the active layer and interaction state are not restored properly after draw operations.

Hi, this is a limitation I'd like to remove, for now the demo viewers force the active layer after a tool change, I need to think of a better solution. All suggestions accepted!
