Thank you for your message, it was the motivation I needed to finally post the Debian package. If the icon doesn't show up, you should be able to run the GUI by typing Or maybe you would like to be among the first to experiment with the Debian package? Steps for installing Debian package
And that should work. At least it worked for me in a VM on Debian Testing. It would be great to hear any opinions. |

This is excellent. Nice work. |

I feel rather stupid asking this question, but with this app, is there a way to change a profile from say "enforce" to "complain"? Or, if there is some documentation on that already, would you mind pointing me to it? |

Thank you very much for clarifying. I'll continue to give you feedback as it comes along. Take care.

If anything else is confusing or if there's something you would like to be able to do, feedback like this is super useful!
I am not a UX Designer. It can be hard to know what is confusing or hidden when you developed the interface yourself.

Another bit of feedback I might provide. Sometimes when I open the application it shows nothing under both processes and profile. I have not determined the pattern yet, so right now I would call that behavior sporadic. Unless, of course, I am doing something wrong.

I believe I may have found the answer to my last email about the processes and profile sections being blank.
If I run the application as root (sudo), that issue goes away.

If anything else is confusing or if there's something you would like to be able to do, feedback like this is super useful!
I am not a UX Designer. It can be hard to know what is confusing or hidden when you developed the interface yourself.

Damn, you're going to be sick of me soon.
I just realized that the reason I had to run the app under sudo is because the authorization dialog box was popping up behind the main application window. Once I answer it, the application populates.

One more little quirk I have found.
When I am in the Profiles section, if I try to change the status of a given profile, I click on the down arrow to show the pick list and it almost immediately closes again. So I can't really change the status of a profile.

I feel like a bit of a fool here, but I've run through the installation process and I don't know how to run the GUI. It didn't create an entry on the application launcher. Please help. Thank you. Oh and by the way please please please build a dbb package
