My application uses many Clients to jackd2; What can I do to increase the allowed client count?

I duplicate pure data instances in my application, which seem to increase the jackd client count in a "sum of the client series" form.
First instance claims one new client...
Second instance claims two new clients...
Third instance claims three...
At four instances, subtotal of ten new clients are claimed.
During launch of the tenth, new jackd clients are rejected.
I do not have much vision into why pure data instances are claiming so many clients to jackd, but I can report after opening ten instances, jackd becomes unresponsive to new command line instances by jack_lsp and additional pure data instances.

My quickest view into jackd rejection is a constant in common/JackConstants.h; CLIENT_NUM 64

• Is there any immediate knowledge as to why the CLIENT_NUM value is limited to 64?
• Is there any extra caution applicable to greatly increasing CLIENT_NUM and rebuilding?
• Did I miss some flag or feature which allows me to increase the client count?

Upon waf configure, it reports max of 256 clients.... I am not sure where it gets that number from.
Still a build with JackConstants.h update CLIENT_NUM 256 works great now...
I got what I wanted but I am still paying attention to any other fresh warnings.
