Run Performance and smoke tests locally

Problem - what in Jaeger blocks you from solving the requirement?

Got the error:

Running io.jaegertracing.tests.run.SmokeTest
2020-11-09 15:31:18,845 ERROR [main] [io.jaegertracing.tests.clients.GenericRestClient:129] Exception,
java.net.ConnectException: Failed to connect to localhost/[0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1]:8080

Same error from docker image jkandasa/jaeger-performance-test 3.1

Proposal - what do you suggest to solve the problem or improve the existing situation?

Any update on above, unable to run tests as it looks to connect to report server. I dont see any prerequistes mentioning this

I made some changes to hook all of them to localhost services in my forked repo: https://github.com/jizh6311/jaeger-performance. You may still need to adjust some of them if you try to use elasticsearch or so.

And I ran a local report server at 8080 by mvn -f spring-boot/pom.xml spring-boot:run from jaeger-instrumentation-performance-tests.

Hope those updates would help.
