How much RF power can be put into a Libre cal kit before it is damaged? 1 mW? 100 mW? 1W? I've looked through the documentation but don't see any mention of RF power limits. Apologies if I missed something. |

No, you haven't missed anything. The LibreCAL is just a bunch of switches (PE426462) and 50 Ohm termination resistors. Both of them determine the maximum power limit. If possible, I would stay at or below 100 mW (+20 dBm). If you go above that for a longer period of time, the termination resistor may heat up too much. The switches are good up to +31 dBm but if you put in that much power while the load standard is selected, it will quickly burn through the termination resistor. |
