Hey, do anyone know how to get the Local KEY after all trial ended?

I extended the trial already and it ended last month. Sadly I have to reset my light as it's showing some problems and now the Local KEY is reset. I am able to control the light from app so connectivity and condition of light is good. If anyone know any workaround please let me know. I tried this youtube video , but this time no success.

Either unlink your developer account and make a new one with a different email, or use something like https://github.com/blakadder/tuya-uncover

So there's no way as of now untill I use a different mail/account for a brand new dev account, right? the python script also did nothing for me.

What do you mean by the python script not doing anything? It's worked every time I've used it. You need to use your SmartLife app login, not the dev account login.

Yup, I tried both Smart Life and Dev (I tried dev just to see what happens), but it gives like : blakadder/tuya-uncover#23

Are you using the SmartLife app, or the TuyaSmart app? SmartLife needs -v smartlife not tuya. Also make sure your region is correct.

[update 2]: unrelated to this library, but tuya backend has some issues and keep sending same otp everytime for this account and can't delete my account. Just logging out and creating new account. BTW deleted the dev account.
[update 1]: I am now deleting my account and creating a new one. Will update here if I succeed.
initial cmt : it's the smartlife app. I think there's a problem, it says ValueError: Please create your password and try again. (PASSWORD_NOT_SET)
But I already have a password, and changing password needs a auth key sent to your email, but my auth key says : DECODE_ERROR.

1. Extend the trial again - Usually approved with no additional fee.
2. Use Home Assistant - HA's method not implemented in tinytuya due to the lack of a dedicated client ID.
3. Try tuyawizard - Retrieves local key using HA's client ID.
