Device ID unknown on Pocketbook Era Colour

I've followed the guide as instructed, but before I could do anything with it on the device, it gave me this.

same issue here, I'll update if I find a fix.

edit: forgot to mention, I'm on kindle, so either 2 different bugs, or device independent.

it doesn't let me set a GUI password either, I turn off the server, set the password, the server turns on, and when I hit the web GUI button, it tells me to set a password first.

I don't think syncthing is even starting properly, since it can't even get the device ID. I had the same issue, I ended up just using progress-sync and ditching syncthing.

Fyi; a wild guess, but could this issue perhaps be related to: koreader/koreader#15146 (reply in thread)

(It's a little confusing, becaues this is not the same "device id". But still, perhaps this might lead to this issue?)
