Terms of Service

Welcome to AuthoIPTV, developed by glitport. By using this application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.

1. Introduction

AuthoIPTV is an IPTV player built using Electron and React. It utilizes Shaka Player and hls.js for stream playback. The app allows users to add their own playlists and play live streams and Video-on-Demand (VOD) content from their provider’s links. AuthoIPTV does not provide or include any content; users must add their own content from their providers.

2. User Responsibilities

  • Users must supply their own content and ensure that they have the legal rights to stream the content.
  • Users must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws regarding IPTV usage.
  • Users are solely responsible for any legal or regulatory consequences of using unauthorized or pirated content.

3. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

  • Using the app for unauthorized streaming of copyrighted content.
  • Sharing, selling, or redistributing content in violation of intellectual property laws.
  • Modifying, reverse-engineering, or attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in the application.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

AuthoIPTV may collect diagnostic data to improve performance, including:

  • Playlist parsing data
  • Playback error data
  • Playlist URLs or stream links (only when errors occur)

This data is used solely for debugging and enhancing user experience. We do not sell, share, or store personal user information beyond diagnostic needs.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

  • AuthoIPTV provides no guarantee of content availability, quality, or reliability, as content is provided by the user’s third-party sources.
  • glitport is not responsible for any issues related to third-party providers, including stream failures, copyright violations, or content restrictions.
  • Users assume full responsibility for their use of the application.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, glitport and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or unauthorized access to user content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The use of AuthoIPTV is at the user’s own risk.

7. Support & Updates

  • We may provide updates, bug fixes, or feature improvements at our discretion, but we are not obligated to do so.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of AuthoIPTV.
  • Support is provided as available and may be discontinued at any time without notice.

8. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to AuthoIPTV if users violate these Terms of Service or engage in activities that may harm the application, its users, or third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Users are encouraged to review this document periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws.
