Summary page too slow

Even with only a few thousand records, the summary page times out for me after a couple of minutes.

Surely there is a way to make those `AVG()` queries not take so long?

(Sidenote: is anyone actually monitoring these issues? There haven't been any comments on recent issues for many months now...)
