Jazzband sunset: Would django-sortedm2m be a candidate for django-commons?

Given the announcement that Jazzband is sunsetting, I would like to bring django-commons as a permanent new home to mind.

Would love to see an update on this and be a able to help on django-sortedm2m. We are using it in some projects and currently have one bug to squash.
