Hi I'm requesting this role to be able to manage releases. The project has been abandoned for quite a while with the main release broken (1.0 comes with a bug since 2020). I picked the project up and been merging fixes, and would like to be able to release a new version so that people who install this library don't get a broken library. I contacted Mathijs (the current lead) and asked his permission to do the release and he said great because he didnt have time to maintain the library.

Excuse me @sidsingh00 no offense, but are you affiliated with jazzband? You can check the repo for the feature I have been merging lately

Hey @newearthmartin , no worries. Yes, I’m aware of the Jazzband community—although I’m not a member, I’m familiar with its functionality. Since I’m working as a Software Engineer at Americana, I can definitely look into it. I’ll review your repo and get back to you shortly
